SR. DESIGN ENGINEER - TEAM TECHNICAL LEAD

Based in Austin, Texas, Symtx develops test solutions on a fixed-price, quick response basis for advanced technology leaders with application specific and unique system requirements. Our customer base worldwide includes Fortune 500 companies defining the manufacturing future in avionics, military/aerospace, satellite communications, telecommunications, medical and life sciences, automotive/transportation, semiconductor, industrial controls and consumer products. Our staff possesses expertise in areas such as RF and microwave, optics, mechanical, high voltage, high-speed digital interfaces, and precision analog measurements.

 

Symtx is currently looking for an experienced senior design engineer and technical lead and team mentor with expertise in the development of complex measurement algorithms and hardware/software systems for instrument control.Candidates should have significant experience with:

 

? Requirements definition and system design of custom test system solutions

? Technical management and broad technical experience (Analog,Digital, SW)

? Implementation of multiple projects simultaneously

? System level design and requirements documentation

? Working in a fast-paced environment

? Estimation and Scheduling

? Engineer development

? Primary technical customer interface

 

Required:

 

? BSEE, MSEE preferred

? 10+ years experience in a highly technical environment

? Broad technical expertise in the design/development of electronic systems

? Outstanding interpersonal/communication skills

? US citizenship
