Reporting Relationship Reports directly to Production Manasger
Primary Purpose of Position
Responsible for testing and assembling of MDS prototypes and production runs as required.
Responsible for ensuring inventory transactions are timely and accurate.
Duties and Responsibilities
? Ability to solder, troubleshoot and repair electronic surface mount assemblies
? Testing of both prototypes and production run products.
? Assembly and repair of electronic hardware as required.
? Maintain and update inventory data base, ensure accuracy of inventories
? Enter and respond to non-conformances as appropriate.
? Responsible for ensuring safety practices are implemented and adhered to.
? Follow up on quality issues and strive for continuous improvement of Quality Objectives.
? Participate in Engineering Design meetings and provide feedback as appropriate.
? Maintain equipment records and ensure calibration is performed on a routine basis.
Knowledge and Skill
? Excellent soldering skills is an absolute requirement
? Familiarity with schematics and bills of material (BOMs)
? Must be highly computer literate and be able to work with BOM/Sales/Inventory Software Package
? Must be able to work independently in a fast paced, high tech environment.
? Some college or work experience with emphasis in communications/electronics preferred.
? Maintain and make recommendations regarding network, software and internal hardware configurations.
? Must have legal right to work in the USA.
