SR MAINTENANCE ENGR
Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an experienced Sr. Maintenance Engineer for its Chandler, AZ facility.
Plans, estimates costs and allocates funds for improvements and expansions which include heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, electrical distribution systems, water, natural gas and sewer systems, waste treatment, pollution control equipment, deionized water and ultra high purity gas system.
Creates and prepares contract documents, bids and selects contractors.
Assures that all site improvements and structures comply with local, state and federal codes and regulations.
Prepares schedule and cost commitments to customers and vendors.
Oversees construction to ensure proper adherence to contract documents and that complete construction close out procedures are used.
Establishes and documents changes to building services.
Determine the preventative maintenance schedules of systems and areas.
Executes preventative maintenance routines and supervises contractors that are performing preventative maintenance.
Provides technical work direction to any technical support personnel assigned to his/her project.
Statistically analyzes system performance parameters to determine normal operating condition and quality assurance limits and periodically analyzes systems to determine their adequacy.
Communicates regularly with management and other functional groups within Air Products to ensure understand of needs/problems in relation to building services.
Develops plan analysis for projects to improve building services.
Stays abreast of building codes, fire codes, current waste water regulations, hazardous waste and pollution control regulations.
Interacts with other technical groups throughout Air Products to remain abreast of new technologies in the field.
Prepares oral and written reports to management.
May analyze, prepare and present equipment purchase recommendations.

Chemistry, physics, mathematics, electronics, statistical process control and overall engineering knowledge necessary to sustain, troubleshoot, modify, improve and develop building systems.
