SR. MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment and processes by interacting with production and maintenance personnel to identify, diagnose, and correct process problems. Support the implementation of capital projects for process improvements, capacity expansions, cost reductions, safety, and quality.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Develop, implement, and manage process improvement projects between $5M - $5 MM.
2. Lead capital project and process improvement teams, or support projects as a contributing team member.
3. Troubleshoot with a hands-on approach in resolving equipment related problems.
4. Handle various responsibilities simultaneously and successfully meet deadlines.
5. Express ideas both in written and oral communications.


DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Estimate, develop, and deliver capital projects.
2. Utilize Project Management skills and techniques.
3. Utilize problem solving and decision analysis skills.
4. Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.


Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education required/ preferred: Engineering degree from a four year accredited college or university
Experience: College graduate to seven years of manufacturing experience preferably in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Knowledge of process controls, equipment design, and AutoCAD
