Responsibilities include:

? Design subsystems, assemblies, and their components to meet customer and internal

requirements, within budget and schedule constraints.

? Create bills of material and oversee creation of drawings to support new designs.

? Prepare stress analyses, hydraulic diagrams, test criteria and critical assembly instructions.

? Analyze design reliability, serviceability, and manufacturability.

? Provide support to other departments such as Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Customer

Service.

? Supervise designers and other engineers on design tasks.

? Function as lead engineer on tasks of moderately complexity.

Qualification Requirements:

? BSME degree or MSEE

? 5-10 years of mechanical design experience.

? A firm understanding of mechanisms.

? Proficient in the use of CAD software.  (Solidworks)

? Analytical skills in structures, kinematics, or FEA.
