P2 Energy Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Senior Product Specialist ? Production.  Ideal candidate is a software minded petroleum/chemical engineer with field experience.  Position will assist in the management and growth of the Enterprise Upstream (?EU?) Volumes Management applications by providing functional product analysis and design, client support, testing and training.

 

Candidate must be flexible and excited about working in a fast paced company; have proven communication and organizational skills; and be willing and able to focus on both internal and external customer service to meet business needs.

 

Position Responsibilities

  ? Continually evaluate product to identify areas of potential improvement and develop enhancement analysis and design documents for funded enhancements and bugs

  ? Manage support cases assigned, working through reported issues as prioritized by clients, addressing within guidelines based upon status codes to ensure successful resolution

  ? Must be familiar with standard oil and gas production accounting practices

  ? Proactively identify and escalate issues, informing support management as appropriate

  ? Develop and implement test plans and scenarios for client issues and enhancements

  ? Write technical bulletins and white papers regarding the supported products

  ? Provide clients meaningful and quality communication, effectively handle client escalations and display a consistent and positive client service orientation

 

 

Special Skills/Competencies

  ? Excellent computer skills with an understanding of the software development lifecycle and relational data bases

  ? Strong analytical and people skills

  ? Knowledge of, or experience with, oil and gas production operations specific to field practices and production allocations with a strong interest in computers and technology

  ? Chemical or Petroleum Engineering background with mass allocations preferred Some travel is required
