The customer account project manager shares project management responsibility to ensure the overall health of the customer base. As such, you are the customer advocate to the Software engineering, quality assurance, support organizations and product managers. You will provide overall project management/leadership to these multidisciplinary teams to facilitate resolution of critical customer issues and ensure proactive communication with the customer to avoid future critical customer situations.

You will work directly with customers and your counterpart who may be on-site at the customer location in worldwide geographical locations to analyze customer issues and develop customer-specific project plans. Your success depends on your collaborative management skills with your customer-on site counterpart and your ability to advocate and negotiate specific deliverables for your customers within the capabilities of what teams can provide.Responsibilities

? Understand customer health and customer issues with regard to PLM.

? Develop action plans and schedules to resolve customer issues. Monitor activities and track progress against the plan.

? Manage multiple projects with multiple customers. Serve as a focal point for all aspects of multiple projects, simultaneously.

? Work with project team members and external customers to identify and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Facilitate interaction among diverse groups working to solve customer issue.

? Ensure project team and external customers are provided with appropriate, timely and accurate project information and status updates.

? Apply technology and product knowledge to address customers? needs.

? Prepare executive and customer presentations.

? Conduct postmortem reviews and implement lessons learned as necessary.Required Skills

? Working knowledge of RDBMS, Windows and Unix OS, Java, and Agile PLM Experience

? 10 years of software engineering experience

? 7 years of project management experience

? 5 years of customer facing experience

? 3 years of people management experience

? Background in enterprise software applications, deployments and support of global implementationsEducation

? BS Computer Engineering

? Project Management Certificate
