Job Description:
Join a successful Structural Engineering Firm licensed in 33 States. In this position as a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the initial client meetings, development of fees and proposals as well as fully designing the structural elements on a variety of projects including commercial structures, industrial complexes including wineries and processing plants, medical facilities, schools and educational facilities, specialized military structures, forensic investigation, sporting event structures and seismic retrofit of existing structures. Position will require incumbent to hold a valid CA drivers license, CA Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer, SE is preferred and ideal candidate will have 2 years of responsible charge in the design of the listed projects. With the variety of projects there will be a variety of design materials you are required to work with which will include, but will not be limited to, concrete, steel, wood and masonry.Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with clients and governmental agencies in regard to their projects and proposals. Applicant will need to be familiar with the 1997 Uniform Building Code and the 2001 California Building Code.
