Sales Application Specialist (Healthcare)

Provides project development and support for integrated systems including mechanical and electrical systems, building controls, fire, security, telecom and networking with a focus in the Healthcare Industry. Provides technical support and advice to Sales and Operations teams. Acts as an external liaison working with clients, contractors and design professionals.

Work with sales, operations and project managers, completes site assessments to determine specific client needs and ensure project requirements are met. Coordinates the design of complex integrated systems including security, building management, fire alarm, intercom, paging, nurse call, networks, fiber communication systems, mechanical and electrical systems etc.

Work with vendors, contractors, and consultants to design and price systems. Stay abreast of and educate others on new product information. Develop and maintain resources for the sales team. Assists in establishing pricing including verification of subcontractor/vendor costs. Represents the company over a range of diverse topics to a diverse audience and is responsible for communicating on both a technical and non-technical level. Uses listening skills to identify the needs of both internal and external customers and responds with appropriate written correspondence or applicable action plans.

Responsible for owning and following applicable process steps to meet pre-established guidelines while identifying and removing obstacles and utilizing existing or developed resources.

Requirements:
Bachelor?s or Associate?s degree in engineering, technical training or job related experience required. Requires 5-7 years experience in technical or sales background in low voltage systems, electrical and mechanical systems, healthcare facility management, or sales support.

Strong organization skills, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to make professional presentations at C levels. Experience in written communication to both technical and non-technical recipients. Proven member in a team oriented environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Power Point.
