Sales Applications Engineer

Eutek Systems, a manufacturer of proprietary and patented equipment for the Water and Wastewater Industry, is in search of an experienced Sales Applications Engineer for our Corporate Headquarters.  The Sales Applications Engineer will be the first line of communication with field representatives, design engineers, and senior plant personnel.  This person will prepare and perform technical review of proposals and bids for the Sales Department.  In addition, the position will work closely with consulting firms in the design and layout of equipment, determine appropriate equipment for each application and assist in review of technical plans & specifications related to our proposals and bids.

 

 

Education & Experience

 

All applicants must have a degree in at least one of the following fields:BS in Civil EngineeringBS in Chemical EngineeringBS in Environmental Engineering (preferred)

 

In addition, we are looking for someone with sales or engineering experience:3+ years experience in water or wastewater treatment (preferred, but not required)3+ years experience in a engineered sales positionProposal and/or bid generation

 

 Sales Applications - Primary Responsibilities

 Relate hydraulic profiles of customer?s plants to equipment and proposalsDesign and oversee layout of equipment in AutoCADCoordinate layout with Design EngineerReview internally generated drawingsGenerate proposals for Sales Representatives and/or Design EngineersReview and update equipment specifications for current projectsReview and update externally generated drawings Review Plans & Specifications during bid stageProvide technical assistance during proposal stageReview Plans & Specifications during bid stageGenerate BidsDevelop working relationships with sales representatives, design engineers, and plant personnelPerform occasional sales call or presentation to consulting engineer or owner (back-up role only)Assist and Support company in trade shows, including set-up of working demonstration equipment
