Sales Engineer

Company: NEAC Compressor Service USA Position: Sales Engineer About the Company NEAC Compressor Service USA is the aftermarket parts and service division of The NEA Group?s reciprocating compressor business. We are a German-based company with facilities worldwide, and are one of the top three manufacturers of large, API 618 reciprocating compressors for the energy and chemical processing industries. About the Role In this role, you will be the frontline interface for NEAC in supporting our existing installations in the territory. As an OEM, our primary focus is to maintain usage of our proprietary products in existing applications, i.e., this is not a ?cold calling? role. We succeed by insuring that our established customers continue to see the value of a high-end support organization. Specific duties include (but are not limited to): ? Develop and maintain relationships with our existing customer base of compressor operators (primarily in process applications, i.e., refineries and chemical plants). ? Prospect and cultivate opportunities for delivering improved compressor performance to established users. ? Manage internal communications to insure solutions are developed in accordance with customer expectations and company standards. ? Create proposals and quotations to effectively communicate the value that NEAC adds to compressor maintenance and service. ? Learn and implement new approaches to solving operational and service challenges ? Take initiative and be independent in taking ownership of the customer relationship, but support the rest of the NEA Group team in accomplishing group goals. ? Near-constant ?face time? with compressor users. This will require substantial travel, though many customers are within easy reach of single-day trips. Things that will set you apart ? Initiative ? German and/or Spanish language ? Knowledge of reciprocating compressor industry ? Knowledge of service contracting for process plants Compensation/Benefits This is a sales-driven position. As such, the compensation will be structured to provide a stable ?safety net? base salary, with a generous incentive program to reward successful revenue generation.
