Sales Service Engineer

 Heraeus Electro-Nite Co., a world leader in the development, manufacturing and distribution of molten metal process control sensors and instrumentation, has an excellent opportunity to join its technical sales and service team as a title.

 

Position Responsibilities:

This individual must be able to plan, implement, and manage an effective program for existing customers to attain increases in market share and bottom-line profitability.  Must also be able to conduct an effective sales/service visitation program to all customer sites to ensure the users of our products, the ?actual purchasing decision makers,? are familiar with our products, service, and our compliance with ISO standards.

 

This individual must respond to customer calls in a timely manner and provide on-site personal assistance including technical trouble shooting, etc. when required.  Building lasting relationships with key individuals at customer sites a must.  Extensive travel within the territory required.

 

Position Requirements:

This position requires a minimum of Associate?s Degree with 3 years experience in the Steel/Foundry or a Bachelor?s Degree, preferably in Engineering Technology or Material Science.  A minimum of three years experience selling to industrial and technical end-users with a consultative sales approach. Understanding and experience in molten metal processing and/or steel industry is preferred. 

 

Strong analytical, communications and interpersonal skills are required to be successful in this role.  Ability to travel extensively within territory  and provide customer on-site support as needed.  Strong computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft applications and environment.  Ability to work independently.  Previous account penetration experience preferred.
