ResponsibilitiesPrepare hardware testing plans. Create and execute manual and automated test cases. Develop quality reporting metrics. Provide input to development and product management organizations regarding product capabilities.

Required Skills5+ years of experience with TCP/IP traffic generation equipment. Experience testing an integrated hardware and software solution. Experience testing firewalls, IDSs, IPSs or similar security-focused devices. Expertise in exploratory testing techniques. Experience creating test plans and manual test cases. Expertise in Unix/Linux administration and use. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired SkillsOperational experience configuring routers and switches. Expertise in scripting languages such as Python or Perl. Operational experience at a large ISP. Extensive usage of both Unix/Linux and Windows systems, including standard MS-Office compatible applications.

Experience5+ years of commercial SQA or network operations experience. Experience testing in a startup or rapid time-to-market environment. BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
