Security Software Developer

This position is located in our VA, Vienna facility

Security Software Developer will conduct or participate in the research, design and development of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, circuitry, equipment or processes. Defines requirements for hardware system architecture and evaluates performance, integrates hardware units and interconnection of units, implements test plans and handles design documentation.

Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Requires minimum 7 years experience

Knowledge of software development and engineering:
-experience in network security systems and compliance testing, vulnerabilities and threats to systems;
-commonly used software languages, but not limited to- C , PERL, and JAVA, Unix OS architecture and strong development skills in the .NET environment;
-Knowledge of UNIX security architecture;
-Develop software applications as well as conduct engineering reviews and participate in control gates for use in data protection and system assurance;
-Integration of commercial and open source applications into the network security programs;
-Develop lifecycle support for software utilities;
-Validation and support of existing software applications;
-Managing software engineering efforts and participation in the Engineering Review Board.

EXPERT IN:
ASP and .Net, Web Common Controls, VB.NET, Transact-SQL, SQL Server Stored Procedures, IIS Web Server Admin

Intermediate:
Visual Studio .Net 2003, ADO.net, Microsoft Visual SourceSafe, VB v6, HTML, Client Side Javascript, SQL Server Database Design and Admin, Windows 2003 Server Domain Admin, Windows Domain Management, Lotus Notes, MS Office Development, Client Web Browser Knowledge

Working Knowledge of:
Remote Desktop, Windows File Server, SQL Server 2000 Client Tools

Candidate must have an active (or within 24 months) TS/SCI Clearance with fullscope poly to apply.
