Security Technology Project Leader

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Manage projects of varying scope throughout entire lifecycle. Includes contacting customers, determining need for security, design of technical system and coordination of install. Follow up on projects includes documentation as necessary and customer satisfaction. Some travel (including international) is required to manage projects in facilities outside the Corning Valley.

Other projects include process development and improvement within the organization.

Position duties include:
- Work within Corporate Security to implement security technologies as defined by policies and practices
- Develop solutions to secure facilities
- Manage projects of varying scope
- Interface with diverse customer base
- Develop recommendations for standards for future deployments
- Develop standard project management practices
- Maintain security systems documentation as necessary
- Analyze situation and recommend optimal security technology solutions

Projects involved with:
Design and installation of security technologies
Projects of varying scope, from single reader system extensions to new facility buildout

Role within group:
Project leader, reporting to Security Technology Manager.
Responsible for all aspects of delivery of project, from design, installation and follow up
Work with other projects in the security organization to help deliver on the Corporate Security Strategy.
