Senior Air Regulatory Strategist

CH2M HILL's Northeast Region is looking for an experienced air quality consultant to lead an effort to build a stronger air presence in the Northeastern US. This person will work with clients in multiple industries, but chemical industry experience is critical for success. This position requires leveraging project teams across multiple offices, providing senior consulting to compliance projects and developing staff resources. This person is expected to work with corporate level EHS managers/risk managers on Clean Air Act issues, with linkages to plant level air quality compliance leaders as well.

We are also looking for this person to cultivate existing relationships with our clients and to build new relationships within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a BS or MS in Chemical or Environmental Engineering. A Professional engineering registration is preferred.

15-20 years experience in environmental multi-media compliance or environmental auditing in a consulting environment is highly desired.

Candidates must have experience with multi-media compliance within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Candidates must also have a proven track record of business and proposal development within these industries.

This position will require strong leadership skills and communication skills to build upon existing relationships as well as establish new relationships within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and to facilitate/leverage internal project teams through complex issues. This position will require working across a large geography. Regardless of the office location, the candidate must be comfortable leading people located in multiple offices/locations.

Relocation assistance will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
