Senior Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will utilize engineering skills and industrial / consulting experience to perform medium and large power system analysis studies for customers. Studies will be short-circuit, time-current coordination, arc flash hazard, load flow, voltage drop and motor starting studies for industrial, commercial and institutional customers. The candidate will have the demonstrated capability of excellent consulting, electrical engineering analysis and oral and written communications skills. Requirements: Six (6) years or more experience as an Electrical Power Systems Engineer in an industrial and or consulting engineering firm. Knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft word processing and spreadsheet software. Knowledge of NEC, IEEE and ANSI standards as related to electrical power systems and equipment. Ability to work on numerous open projects. BSEE degree is required. PE registration a plus. This position is located in Lexington, KY.
