National leads the industry in the Power Management field and offers state-of-the-art power management products using advanced tools and technology.  As a member of the Power Management group, one will work with analog or mixed signal ICs that are designed for multi market applications. 


 


As a Senior IC Design Engineer, you will develop power management ICs for broad market applications.  This broad task calls for subtasks such as architecture definition, simulation of both system architecture and detailed analog circuit blocks, supervision for blocks and full chip layout, debug at the silicon level, support for test development, and product release. 


 


The successful candidate will alos be responsible for designing integrated switching regulators, LDO’s, bandgaps, oscillators, amplifiers and various logic interface blocks for control of the same. The development effort requires experience with a broad range of technologies and circuit techniques such as PWM, deep N-well, current/voltage mode, adaptive dead time control, triple well, PID, leakage control, etc.  This person will have a broad working knowledge of design tools and simulation techniques- Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, SpectreRF, AMS Designer, Verilog, Monte Carlo analysis, etc.


 


Also, this individual will be involved in product definition and support for design wins. 


 


Requirements:


 


BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of design experience in analog integrated circuit design.  The majority of experience should be designing at the transistor level in Bipolar, CMOS, DMOS or BiCMOS processes.
