Senior/Dept Mgr Electrical Engineer - (Electrical Contractor)

We have an immediate need for a Senior Professional Electrical Engineer at our Cerritos, CA Regional Office.

 Job Duties:

 

?  Responsible for independent electrical design of such projects as; commercial & high-tech buildings, data centers, hospitals/labs, high rise residential, retail centers, tenant improvements, and the like. Provide Engineering Stamp for Permit level documents.

?  Responsible for the engineering oversight of the electrical design performed by others in the Engineering Group in the Cerritos office.

?  Mentor and train other members of the group

?  Manage the deliverables and fees for projects independently performed and performed by others in the group.

 

 

Preferred Job Requirements:

 

?  Minimum 5 years experience of increasing responsibility as a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California.

?  BSEE and CA PE required.

?  Strong working knowledge of the NEC, CBC, IBC/UBC and all applicable NFPA codes.

?  Successful history of Engineering and overseeing large complex commercial projects that include hospitals, labs, data centers, high rise residential, office buildings and special use facilities from upfront schematic level through construction administration.

?  Ability to manage and oversee multiple large projects on an ongoing basis is essential.

?  Working knowledge of ACAD and SKM Power Tools.

?  Must be fluent with the National Electric Code.

?  Strong management, written & verbal communication skills.
