This position will design and develop high-speed digital circuitry, including board level and FPGA design. Strong software skills for implementation, design verification, and documentation of electronic assemblies used in customized functional test fixtures and programs.

 

Experience / Skills Required:­

?  Digital design with small signal analog design a plus

?  Programming; C, C++, Visual basic & Pascal a plus

?  Microcontrollers; hardware, firmware and associated development tools

?  Demonstrated technical knowledge required to design and debug functional test fixtures

?  Familiarity with other ATE (e.g. Teradyne/GenRad, Agilent) platforms is a plus

?  Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic PC skills

 

Essential Work Experience:

?  Ability to apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to analyze and solve electronic design problems

?  Proficient using CAD tools to generate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PWB layout

?  Able to work both independently and as part of a team

?  Able to track schedule and deliverables for multiple projects

?  Possesses strong oral and written communication skills

?  Able to understand the importance of meeting deadlines

?  Operation of automated test tools for development

?  Able to develop design specifications based on customer input and requirements

?  Tact and diplomacy required in dealing with customers

?  Analyze and document test results to insure that performance specifications are satisfied
