Senior Electrical/Electronics Engineer

LightLab Imaging, Inc. specializes in the development and commercialization of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) for interventional cardiology applications. LightLab Imaging was founded in 1998, and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Goodman, Co., LTD of Japan in 2002.

 

In this position you will work with a small group of engineers and scientists, headed by the Chief Technology Officer, to develop the next generation of medical imaging systems based on optical coherence tomography (OCT).  Primary responsibilities will include component-level design of digital control systems for semiconductor lasers and analog RF electronics for high-speed data acquisition.



We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and hard-working engineer with extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of both analog and digital electronics.  The ideal candidate would be comfortable with hands-on design and prototyping of high-frequency (50 ? 200 MHz) analog circuits, as well as digital microcontrollers and FPGA design at the board level.  Previous work with fiber optic systems would be a plus. 



 





Bachelor's degree in EE (Master's preferred) with at least 5 years of hands-on work experience is required.
