Senior Electrical Engineer/Reliability Engineer

Engineering support in the Reliability Lab for all technical aspects including: electrical, test sample assembly, stress testing validation/design, and data monitoring/evaluation. Take a bias conditioned reliability plan from schematic layout to bias setup. Manage board design and layout, make material selections, make passive component selection and placement. Drive global compliance on lab processes and procedures. Assure compatibility with product and fabrication/assembly requirements. Interact with Reliability, Design and Product Engineering to insure the proper execution of qualifications and evaluations in accordance with existing ON Semiconductor, AEC, and JEDEC Tests typically performed include: High Temp Operational Life, High Temp Reverse Bias, High Temp Gate Bias, Intermittent Operational Life, HAST, Autoclave, High Temp Bake and Temp Cycle.
Requires technical knowledge in package assembly, test, reliability engineering
Working knowledge of existing JEDEC and AEC reliability requirements
Proficient at statistical analysis of both process and electrical data
Proficient at Microsoft Project
Use advanced statistical methods to set up experiments and for data reporting
Good interpersonal skills, mentoring skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills
3-5 years of Engineering required
BSEE/BSME preferred
