Senior Electrical Technician

Work as an electrical test technician on all aspects of integration and test for the satellite electrical subsystem environmental testing (including thermal vacuum and vibration testing), and launch campaigns; acquire necessary skills on-the-job under the tutelage of senior technician and engineers.
Operate and maintain automated test equipment, special test equipment and test cables.
Generate and maintain test scripts and simple test equipment software tools.
Support shift rotations and weekends as required for spacecraft integration and environmental testing.
Support off site testing at NRL and launch site.

HS Diploma or equivalent plus electrical technician certification.
5+ years with hands-on electrical integration and test experience.
Basic computer skills and aptitude with Word, Excel and web-based applications and/or UNIX required.
Experience with fundamental electrical troubleshooting and networking tools.
Field experience with system installations and determinations, preferable at remote or international location demonstrate the ability to deliver with access to limited resources.
The ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits.
Ability and initiative to tackle and understand new technical and engineering designs.
