Senior Electrical or Mechanical Engineer

Wireline Technologies Inc., an established provider of directional drilling products located in North Houston, seeks a Senior Electrical or Mechanical Engineer for electro-mechanical connector products and hermetic seal designs used primarily in downhole tools (LWD/MWD).

 Essential duties & responsibilities: - Acts as Technical Product Line Champion  - Manages Projects from concept to production,- Establishes design requirements; evaluates and establishes test and manufacturing criteria.- Establishes all necessary documentation including necessary marketing material - Provides Customer and Product Support as needed- Makes recommendations for improvements in design and manufacturing areas Knowledge & Skills: - Specialized knowledge of connector principles and Hermetic Seal designs used in downhole application.- Proficient in creating technical documents, including specifications, procedures and test results- Strong problem solving and design skills- Self motivated team player- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with employees and customers on all levels.- AutoCad and/or SolidWorks software Education:BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is requiredExperience: 7+ years in related field
