Senior Embedded Software Engineer (2217/2118)

Carlsbad, CA (north coastal San Diego)

 

This Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing software in an embedded, real-time application. The candidate will be expected develop complex use cases and sequence diagrams to as part of the software design process. The candidate will design, code, and unit test software in C and C++ that will interface to a CORBA layer and RTOS.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree with 1-8 years experience in the following areas are preferred: Real Time Embedded Software Programming in an RTOS environment, CORBA/Distributed Computing, OOD/OOP Development, C/C++ Development, Communication Systems Development. The following skills are less critical, but would also be beneficial: UML Skills, XML Skills, Systems Engineering/requirement management skills, CMM Level 3 Development Processes, and Software Team Leadership. Up to 10% travel required. US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain a Secret level government clearance.
