Senior Engineer - Electrical Systems

  Primary Purpose of Position: Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations.  Responsible for technical decisions.  Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.

 

Major Accountabilities:

?  In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support for the Electrical Systems Program.
Monitor, enhance, and implement technical programs
Identify, schedule and oversee code and regulatory inspections per technical program requirements
Support field execution of programmatic inspections
Prepare required analysis and program documents to support inspection scopes.

 

Position Requirements:

To qualify, individuals should have a Bachelor?s degree in electrical engineering, six years engineering experience, and a minimum of five years experience with 480V switchgear/tran, 480V MCC and 4160 volt switchgear systems.

 

Additional desired skills:

Professional Engineer Registration and advanced technical degree or related coursework
