This position is responsible for providing technical support for customers contracted with Goodrich for long-term managed maintenance support programs. Acts as liaison with internal product support infrastructure and Goodrich representatives co-located at airlines to coordinate resolution of in-service technical issues impacting airline operations.

This position is responsible for development of cost control programs specifically designed to achieve the prime objectives of optimizing Reliability and reducing Direct Maintenance Cost through the economical embodiment of customized modifications and service bulletins, product and service improvement initiatives, training programs, and maintenance planning recommendations. Focus will include identification and management of the variables that can be influenced directly by Goodrich and affected on the Nacelle System through specific cost control programs implemented at individual airline operators.

Individual will be involved with engine nacelle system studies using Reliability-Centered Maintenance tools that involve development, analysis and comparison of various field problems, and devising possible solutions, taking in to account life-cycle cost and reliability elements, as well as airline maintenance, spares, and contractual requirements. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Good communication skills will be required to support technical communications and presentations to the customer, as well as possible international travel to provide customer field support and maintenance planning meetings.

Accountable for the duties assigned relative to:
' Design of product support plans for new operator entry into service
' Monitoring of product reliability
' Analysis of product maintainability, reliability, direct maintenance costs and associated penalty and cost/benefit predictions
' Engineering support to off-site representatives
' Marketing support

Minimum 5 years experience in aviation within product / technical support environment servicing aircraft engine and/or nacelle systems.
