Senior Engineering Manager

Yoh has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Senior Engineering Manager at a company focused on fast-paced development of custom, advanced technology, semi-conductor equipment in Kingston, NY.

 

Job Scope:

- Work closely with senior management in developing and implementing engineering business strategy, consistent with company business plans.

- Expand customer base and cultivate long-term relationships.

- Department leadership.

- Define and shape equipment conceptual designs; project sizing, estimates, quotations, customer proposals and presentations; formulation of schedules; resource allocation; effective project management; travel as required.

- Mechanical engineering / design support.

- Fast-paced development of custom, advanced technology, semi-conductor equipment.

 

Requirements: 

- BSME or higher is required, with a minimum of 10 years experience in the semiconductor related industry inclusive of 3 to 5 years experience in an engineering management capacity.

- Strong skills in the areas of conceptual development, system synthesis, automation, product handling, high vacuum applications, system packaging and integration.

- A thorough understanding of semiconductor processes

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong computer aptitude

- Effective people management skills and the ability to multi-task and provide effective interaction with customers

- Knowledge and experience in the areas of thermal and vibration modeling / analysis, material science and semiconductor manufacturing processes
