BEM?s Phoenix Office has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Environmental Engineer and Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years experience designing, managing and implementing complex remedial strategies. This position requires demonstrated experience in the hands-on design, construction and operation of remedial systems.  The position entails substantial interaction with clients, regulators, and staff; requiring a forward-thinking, self-motivated, career-oriented professional.  In exchange for your hard work, commitment and initiative, BEM offers unlimited growth opportunity and the potential for sharing of equity in the firm.

 

Primary responsibilities will be to lead project teams in the successful implementation of several technically challenging remediation projects; provide technical oversight/QC, leadership, and career development for a capable staff of young engineers and scientists; and support senior management in building BEM?s Southwest Region capabilities and client base. This is a position that requires demonstrated experience in providing outstanding technical quality, team leadership, and client service in the western U.S.

 

Qualified candidates will hold a Professional Engineer?s license in Arizona, or have the ability to obtain an Arizona PE through reciprocity within a short period of time. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Experience with Arizona/Western U.S. DoD facilities, munitions ranges/UXO, environmental agencies, and the local private sector sites is also a plus.
