We are looking for a senior forensic expert with testifying experience to help enhance the capabilities of our national company who recently expanded to the area. We are looking for an expert with experience in each of the following disciplines: accident reconstruction, biomedical, mechanical, or structural engineering.



 

The engineer will be working in a consulting firm as part of a multi-disciplined team with a number of the top experts from across the country. The company is a leader in the industry; an engineering consulting firm with approximately 75 employees.

 

The ideal candidate will have some foundation in the analysis of technical problems and analysis of failed or damaged systems. This engineer will be required to conduct site investigations to gather data, write reports and potentially testify about the results of the work. The engineer will possess the willingness to work in the litigation setting and will be given the opportunity to evaluate cases and claims, design and build test fixtures and to evaluate and test hardware. Candidate must have prior testifying experience, and must poses solid written and verbal communication skills.  

 

Field work and travel will be required and the engineer may be called upon to conduct or assist with the conduct of various types of static and dynamic tests and to make presentations and be questioned on their work. Qualifications

 

The candidate should possess a bachelor?s degree or higher in engineering, preferably mechanical, biomechanical (MS or PhD required for Bio), civil or a related engineering degree.

 

The candidate will possess at least five years of experience in either the forensics commercial field or forensics litigation environment.

 

The candidate should posses prior testifying experience.

 

The candidate will have prior failure analysis or hazard analysis experience
