Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer to introduce new products and support existing products to manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for the following activities:

Put in place test strategies and determine test coverage needed to guaranty product integrity and functionality. Design automated test Station to verify the product functionalities and to optimize capacity. Improve product yield and test time. Evaluate new products and perform testability analysis. Write test procedure for manufacturing technicians. Support and train technicians. Report technical issues and drive them to Root Cause

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of DWDM telecommunication systems. Excellent knowledge of active and passive optical components and the different ways to test them. Excellent knowledge in High speed electronics. Knowledge of SONET, SDH and Ethernet. Strong programming skills with Visual Basic, Lab View and C++. Practical knowledge of Quality concepts. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Great team worker and excellent communicator. Self motivated. Creative

EE or MS with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
