Senior Manufacturing Chemical Process Engineer

Our client, a leader within their industry, is actively seeking a high performing Senior Manufacturing Chemical Process Engineer. The focus of this manufacturing engineering position will be to specify, design, develop, and purchase and implement equipment that supports the various global manufacturing sites.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- High precision mechanical design, manufacturing process design
- Will work with suppliers in driving cost and quality improvements
- Perform other project activities including: Design documentation, feasibility studies, root cause analysis, product cost and budget estimates, and manufacturing support.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ yrs mechanical design experience
- Electro-mechanical or chemical process design experience
- Minimum 3 years equipment/process design experience
- Project leadership experience, with ability to balance multiple projects
- Experience in equipment purchasing and installation
- Hands-on experience in equipment start up and troubleshooting
- Custom Equipment/high voltage/controls systems integration experience
- Understanding of manufacturing flow, process variation, capacity analysis, and project justification
- CAD proficiency(solid modeling and drafting)
- Black/Green Belt Preferred!!
