Woods Construction Equipment manufactures top quality construction equipment which includes a product line of Construction Buckets, Excavator Buckets, Backhoe Buckets, Compaction Equipment, Quick-Change Couplers, Industrial Scrapers, Multi-Purpose Buckets, Skid Steer Attachments, and Specialty Buckets.

 

We are in the search for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who would be responsible to recommend and/or approve changes for improved plant layout to ensure the most efficient flow of materials and traffic.  Analyze production efficiencies, recommend, and approve improvements in equipment, design, and methods.  Identify and implement plans for continuous flow manufacturing operations.  Evaluate, plan, recommend, and approve the physical organization of production and warehouse areas.  Compile information necessary for capital expenditures and budget preparations.  Evaluate alternative production methods, determines and approves proper machine, human resources, training and communication systems requirements.  Administer direct supervisory responsibilities for personnel including selection, hiring, training, performance evaluations, promotional recommendations and work schedules.  Provide guidance and personal counseling and keeps employees informed of policies, procedures and operational changes.  Perform all operational according to prescribed safety principles.  Develop engineering team to become self-directed towards company goals and objectives.  Perform all other duties as assigned.
