* Monitor, test, and evaluate the end-to-end performance of Akamai systems on the field
* Build tools and infrastructure for performance monitoring and analysis
* Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex performance issues, including those that arise in pre-sales customer trials and post-sales customer escalations
* Work with the development teams to help architect novel, next-generation high-performance systems

Required Skills:
* B.S in Computer Science or equivalent required. Advanced degree (M.S/Ph.D) a strong plus
* Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
* Experience in the performance analysis of highly complex systems
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work internally with different Akamai development groups and externally with customers
* 3+ years of programming and system building experience
