Senior Presentation Layer Software Engineer/Architect

Sirit is a leading provider of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) reader technology to OEM?s and solution providers worldwide. Our customers are the world?s leading manufacturers and developers of data collection devices including handheld computers / portable data terminals, printers, cashless payment terminals, and barcode scanners.

 

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic senior-level individual to serve as the lead software architect for the user interface of Sirit?s next generation of RFID reader products.  In this role you will be responsible for the presentation layer of our products, both in both man-machine and machine-machine (i.e. middleware) environments.  You will also work on our next generation visualizations and front-end presentation layer, developing and designing both the underlying framework and the product interfaces.  The successful candidate will be a senior designer who has a keen sense of user community requirements and is interested in building interfaces that will redefine the RFID software space.

 

This position reports to the Director, Software Development.

 

The successful candidate must have the following relevant experience, background, and education:

 

ResponsibilitiesStrong background in user interface development, building and delivering thin and thick clientsKnowledge of web technology, frameworks, and application protocolsPassion for enhancing the usability of the product and influencing the adoption of industry-wide interface standards Standalone Windows? application development experienceAbility to engage users and partners to help define specific product requirementsKnowledge of network management principles and protocols is a major plusEmbedded software development experience a plus

 

Experience and EducationBSCS (MS a plus) with 5+ years experienceMust be a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and oral Highly motivated, enterprising, and possessing excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Very strong personal ethics and integrity Willingness to travel if required
