Senior Process Engineer (Fiberline)

This position supports the operation of the Fiberline at our Covington Mill which includes the Wood yard, Batch Digesters, three Brown Stock Washing and Screening lines, three Bleaching lines, and a ClO2 plant. This position requires the capability to manage projects, processes, and people. The initial assignment will be in the Unbleached Pulp Mill with future assignments and projects covering the entire Fiberline process area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Implementation of process/equipment improvement projects
? Identify/implement projects to improve pulp quality
? Support of safety management/improvement projects
? Management of PSM covered processes in the Fiberline
? Implement systems to improve equipment reliability
? Implement systems to improve operator responsibility
? Solve repetitive process/equipment failures
? Support department training
? Assist in maintenance shut down execution of process lines
? Direct area operations in the absence of the Assistant Superintendent

REQUIREMENTS:
? BS Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or greater than 15 years Fiberline operational experience
? Demonstrated past success in project/process management
? Strong Communication, leadership, and teaching skills
? Departmental on call duty- encompassing the entire Fiberline on a rotating basis
