Rohm & Haas has chosen, Q4B, Inc., a recruiting consulting service provider, to help recruit and present top talent for a Senior Process Engineer opportunity that exists in Croyden, PA., (Philadelphia area). Qualified candidates will provide leadership within the Architectural and Functional Coatings capital deployment group.

 

As a Senior Process Engineer you will:

?  Be responsible for partnering with research, manufacturing, operations, and engineering to develop and execute projects and programs that support business objectives.

?  Objectives will include EHS compliance, reliability, capacity, process consistency, quality, and cost reduction improvements.

?  Projects will vary from small to large and from grass roots to existing operations.

?  More specifically the successful candidate will be expected to lead a team in providing the front end deliverables, and design information, which supports these objectives.

?  This includes leading the efforts in goal deliberation, options generation & selection, detailed design, and startup.

?  The individual will be expected to understand plant operations and equipment enough to effectively identify and execute solutions.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

?  BS in Chemical Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years industrial experience

?  Excellent verbal, interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills

?  Ability to work independently, both lead and be an individual contributor

?  Must have demonstrated experience in leading initiatives from start to finish.

?  Ability to interact with cross-functional teams on both technical and a business level Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead decision-making

?  Ability to operate with minimum supervision, take initiative and exercise good judgment under pressure

?  Ability to make good engineering judgments independently

?  Approximately 20% of travel is required (domestic/international)

?  Plant or capital deployment experience desirable

?  Experience in interacting with a manufacturing team is strongly desired

?  Production or plant experience desirable
