Senior Professional Environmental Engineer 

 

Environmental Compliance Services, Inc. (ECS), an industry leader and dynamic force within the environmental consulting community, is comprised of more than 200 professionals with offices throughout New England, New York, Florida, North Carolina and Ohio.

 

ECS has an immediate opening for a full time Senior Professional Environmental Engineer for our Tampa, Florida office.  A minimum BS in Environmental Engineering (or other related degree program) and 4-5 years of experience in the Environmental Engineering field is required.  Professional Engineer license in the state of Florida is also required in order to be considered. 

Demonstrated knowledge of remedial systems design including installation, O&M and advanced troubleshooting of system components, preparation of construction bid specifications, pilot testing, data collection, reduction and compilation, and remedial action plan preparation is required. 

Additional duties may include but not be limited to: site assessments and investigations, field sampling and analysis, preparation of regulatory submittals and technical reports, and risk characterizations.  

Demonstrated experience in water resources and wastewater management are preferred but not mandatory.  Task management, organizational skills, and the ability to work under deadline pressure are required.  Travel to various work sites will be necessary. Excellent technical writing skills in regards to letter and report preparation is required.  Salary is commensurate with experience and education level.
