Senior Project Engineer

Reading, PA area manufacturer is seeking an experienced process engineer. This individual will be responsible for engineering support of manufacturing including design and development of process systems, tooling, equipment, and process engineering for new or existing products.

 

  Manufacturing experience in the medical, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industry is required.  Additional responsibilities will also include resolution of quality issues, cost reduction and yield improvement programs, process control systems, and support of new products from prototype through sustained manufacturing launch. The ability to make a positive contribution in a project team environment to accomplish objective oriented results is a must.

 

  Candidate must have B.S. degree in Engineering. Eight years experience in a manufacturing environment with at least four as a process engineer is required.  Experience with DOE?s, a strong statistical background, protocols, process documentation, and validations; along with a proven process design track record are required. Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel is also required. Use of Solidworks or other 3-D cad software is a plus.
