As an integral member of our Supply Chain team, you will:

 

Supply oversight and project management for the project engineering function in the SL Foodservice Bakery & Sauce group. This position will be responsible for overseeing capital projects for all B&S manufacturing facilities (currently 6). Responsible for capital budgets totaling up to $15MM in upcoming FY ‘07. At times, this position will also be responsible for large Supply Chain initiated projects of up to $15MM. This position will be supported by the individual facility Engineering / Maintenance Managers as well as the Plant Managers.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, implement and report capital budget for all facilities within Bakery & Sauce. Direct the management of all construction projects within B&S. Develop and implement process improvements and infrastructure projects. Assist in manufacturing strategic planning. Source and identify new equipment opportunities for manufacturing operations.



Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other related field. Master’s degree in Engineering or Business desirable. Minimum of 7 years work experience in food processing industry managing capital projects of greater than $5MM. Requires good written and oral communication skills. Success Factors:Ability to work independently and must be results oriented Must have in-depth knowledge of food industry, processes and equipment including production and packaging systems, materials and technologies Must have knowledge of financial indicators / analysis and experienced in capital planning, fixed asset management and budget development / management Basic personnel computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Power Point Experience with Auto Cad and Microsoft Project preferred Experience with SAP, a plus  An Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer
