Senior Project Manager

Senior Water Resources Project Manager responsible for engineering and project management of multiple municipal, federal, and commercial/industrial projects including stormwater, water quality, floodplain, and watershed studies. Individual will assist in hiring and development of junior engineering staff as well as participate in business development activities.

Accountabilities:
Serve as Project Manager, task leader, or expert on specific tasks or projects, including managing schedules, budgets. production, and quality
Perform floodplain and watershed studies and watershed / stormwater master planning analyses including the development of solutions to floodplain and stormwater problems
Support business development efforts by leading or assisting in proposal development and marketing activities
Develop water quality analyses and assessments for watershed planning and Best Management Practices (BMP) evaluations and prepare engineering designs
Direct field investigations and GIS data processing to obtain data necessary for hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling
Compile and present findings and results of studies and analyses and write reports
Help build a diverse engineering group and mentor Junior Engineers
Some travel / fieldwork will be required (usually in the Southeast U.S.)

QUALIFICATIONS:
10-15 years experience
BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred) or related field
Professional Engineer (PE) certification
Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic of riverine systems required including experience with hydrologic and hydraulic models.
Experience with SWMM or other continuous simulation models desirable
Municipal or land development floodplain and stormwater management experience preferred
