Senior QA Engineer
Sr. QA Engineer
Description:
Lead, plan and execute testing the gateway based security software to ensure timely, high quality releases
Co-work with other functional departments and provide technical consultation to the extended team
Requirements:
BS degree in computer science or related field with 4+ years software industry experience
Hands-on experience in software testing, networking, web-based and/or client/server applications
Background in network protocols, infrastructure or computer security
Hands on experience in administrating and testing router, switch, firewall, VPN (articularly CISCO equipments)
Knowledge of using network management software tool
Good understanding of QA methodology
Strong system knowledge in Windows, Linux envronments
Knowledge of SMTP or HTTP protocols
Self motivated and proactive to solve problems and accomplish assignments independently
Ability to quickly adapt technical concepts
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge about using Anti-virus and Anti-spam software a plus
Experience in Perl and shell scripting programming also a plus.
