Summary:

The candidate will be the host technical lead for several product subsystems and participate in test planning and execution. The engineer in this position will define, design and implement tools needed to assure test efficiency and accuracy for printer drivers and utilities.

 

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement efforts and be able to balance workload and schedules across multiple concurrent projects. The position requires an ability to drive issues to resolution with appropriate persistence and persuasiveness. The ability to work closely with software developers and marketing to define requirements, validate designs, and develop effective test strategy for evolving new technology.  This SQA Engineer will be expected to accurately assess the completeness, consistency and robustness of software requirements, design and implementation.  Make recommendations for network and/or server hardware, software and tool selection and purchase.

 

Requirements:

We require a BS in Computer Science or other engineering discipline a minimum of 6 years of work experience with Software QA.

A thorough understanding of SW life cycles and SW programming is required;

Working knowledge of Windows and Mac architecture and operating systems, is required. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skill is a must. 

Knowledge and experience with printing architecture in Windows and Mac environment is definitely a plus.
