Senior Software Development Engineer

CITY: Albany STATE: New York COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Main responsibilities include identifying product solutions in response to marketing and customer requests, creating and reviewing designs and functional specifications, designing and implementing high quality software products.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* BS technical discipline or equivalent (Comp Eng, EE, CS preferred)
* Minimum 3 years experience using OOD/OOA methodologies.
* Minimum 3 years experience using Microsoft technologies/Platforms: Win32, API, COM, GDI, GDI+
* Strong interpersonal and oral/written communications skills.
* Strong software analysis and design methodology skills.
* Experience with SQL programming.

Desired:
* MS in CS, EE or equivalent.
* Manufacturing IT or Automation Software Industry experience.
* Experience developing MES software products.
* Experience with BI Products (Congas, Business Objects, SAS, etc.)
* NET or Java experience.
* Project Management experience.
* Experience on a team releasing commercial, off-the-shelf software products.
