Position:  Senior Software Engineer ? Application Development

Location: San Francisco, California

 

 

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be part of our application development team that leads the creation of next-generation application suite.  This is an opportunity to provide technical leadership in architecture and development of robust and extensible application layer framework and functional components that our next-generation applications will be based on.  You will have significant exposure to finance, software architecture, and full life-cycle development.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

The position involves architecture, design and implementation of Windows .Net application layer framework as well as functional components.  You will propose, refine, and develop framework based on sound development practice and current and known future product needs.  You will also develop application features using the framework in agile development environment interacting with financial analysts, UI designers, product managers, database administrators, and quality assurance engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess senior level expertise and experience developing Windows desktop applications using .NET/C# technologies, and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced team environment. The developer must have worked on a large scale C#/.NET project and will be asked to take leadership role in development of the application. Demonstration of sound development practice and object oriented design skills are a must.

Technical Expertise & Skills Required:
?5+ years of Windows application development and design experience
?2+ years experience with C# and other .NET technologies, ADO.NET, Window Forms, ASP.NET

?Experience designing and developing home-brewed application framework

?Experience working with .NET or Java application framework (Spring, Composite App Block, etc)
?Relational database experience

?Demonstrated ability to produce quality code
?Work well with others in fast-paced, team environment
