Senior Staff Engineer - Software (03573)

ITT Aerospace/Communications Division (A/CD), Westlake Village, California.

Provides analysis, develops specifications, develops procedures and processes, provides technical support to develop software for various GPS products at the Westlake Village, California facility. Mentor sofware designers and developers, and system integrator specialists. Duties also include software requirements documentation, software architecture and design of real-time, embedded software for GPS Receiver.

Equivalent Educational Requirements - BS (MS or PhD preferred) in
Computer Science, Computer Engineering preferred, or BS in Electrical Engineering with experience in software design.

Experience Required - Twelve or more years engineering experience. Engineering experience in embedded real-time software design required. GPS receiver design preferred.

Knowledge Required - Specialized knowledge in areas applicable to the division's product lines, i.e. military electronics/communications devices. Knowledge of GPS receiver design preferred.

Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informaiton. U.S. citizenship required.

Active U.S. Security Clearance preferred.
