Senior Systems Engineer (2nd Shift)

Description:
The primary responsibilities include providing high level application support to customers. Support is delivered remotely using state of the art technology and a broadband connection direct to the manufacturing floor. Diagnostic, analyzing and troubleshooting control systems including drives, drive systems, PLCs, HMIs, and DCS Supervisory control systems. Performing program modifications and changes to PLCs, Drives and HMIs. Providing consultative service to the customer to improve OEE, Quality, human performance and to reduce downtime.

Qualifications:
Four year electrical or computer science degree or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years experience designing, commissioning, or supporting control systems

Expertise in applying Rockwell Automation control products

Must be able to work in a stressful environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.

Excellent conflict resolution skills.

Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays to meet customer project commitments.

Must perform duties in the office as part of a project team.

Strong problem solving skills.

Strong customer facing skills.

Occasional travel will be required
