Senior Systems Integration Engineer

We are a leading player in the Ultra Wideband (UWB) communication market.? Due to an internal promotion?we are looking for an experienced hardware development leader, skilled in gathering and documenting systems integration requirements, developing project plans, managing and tracking project execution, developing/optimizing subsystem and/or system prototypes for internal client departments, characterizing pre-production system performance,? and verifying that pre-production systems meet product performance requirements before release to production.? For this position you should have the proven ability to draw upon experience gained in the communications industry to utilize formal hardware development and integration testing methodologies.?

Duties will include providing status updates, and managing and resolving complex technical problems by coordinating activities with other internal departments such as the MAC HW/SW team, Digital Baseband team,? RFIC development team, and Product Verification groups.? This person will need to drive technical issues to completion and develop project plans, track project execution, and develop and execute implementation plans.?

Familiarity with communication system engineering algorithms, and experience using Matlab and C for systems simulation programs is required.? In addition, experience with RF to digital interface issues, and RF front end circuit issues would be a plus.??

We are looking for someone with a BS or?MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Systems, or similar area, and 7+ years of experience.
