As a Senior Technical Manager for SES, you and your team will focus on the development of the Dish Concentrator system and components. As a Senior Technical Manager focused on the Dish Concentrator, you will be based at our headquarters in Phoenix, reporting to the VP of Engineering. Leveraging your successful track record in complex technical program management, you will provide the leadership necessary to commercialize the SES technology and make the transition from low volume (5 units per year) to high volume (10,000+ units per year) manufacturing. Your knowledge of the application of aerodynamic wind loads, finite element analysis, and drive systems will give you the foundation necessary to establish requirements and manage development of system and component specifications. Your knowledge of cost estimating techniques for manufacturing and volume production will keep your program's budget and schedule on track. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills will be crucial to your success; not only will you work with various internal groups such as quality engineers and subcontract managers, you will also partner with various suppliers for electrical, mechanical and civil subsystems and assemblies. Your ability to build and lead a high performance engineering team will lead to the successful execution of our commercialization effort and will also provide you with the opportunity to guide and shape our corporate culture through a period of rapid growth and expansion.
