Job Description:
The primary duties of the Water Engineer include planning, detailed design and design oversight of all types of water resource, water and wastewater systems. Typical projects include conveyance/collection systems, pumping stations, treatment facilities and water/natural resource related projects. Job responsibilities include engineering design, writing specifications, hydraulic modeling, determining appropriate design methods, and working directly with the owner. Establishes new quality standards and value engineering solutions. Conducts quality control reviews of completed designs.
Job Experience:
BSCE
PE
4+ Years Experience with municipal water and planning and design and/or water/natural resource planning and design.
Software knowledge: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Hydraulic modeling software and GIS software packages.
